What do we mean by Foreign Language here?
There are many lingo, jargons in the industry. It is very easy to get caught up not knowing many of it.
The language can be that of insurance, medical, management, finance, accounting etc. In order for a developer to effectively communicate with the stake holders, we need to at least get familiar with the language they speak.
Mostly Business Analyst are there to bridge gap between technical aspect and the business functionality of it. As a developer it’s better we can at least understand what the stakeholder is trying to convey to us.
TL;DR Learn the language of the industry you are working. It will help to work with ease and understand the business needs and rules.
