This is the third step towards gaining the Programming Enlightenment series. If you didn’t learn the second step, read it.
“You’ve got to start with the customer experience and work back toward the technology — not the other way around” ~ Steve Jobs
“The less you explain, the better the design”. In the world of software, designers, engineers and users are different sets of people who think differently. Each set of people tend to think that other people think like us (false-consensus effect).
What is User Experience?
- The User Experience is everything that happens to your users when they interact with your application or products.
- One bad User Experience, the app get’s uninstalled, get’s bad reviews or the User will never come back again.
Why User Experience?
- If you have to explain how to use your products or application, users will hate it.
- If the user can’t use it, it doesn’t work.
TL;DR Spend time learning how users interact with the problem that your product or application is going to solve and revolve around it to customize the UX.
